On July 19-20, Missoula Electric Cooperative employees participated in the American Cancer Society Relay For Life Event held at Missoula County Stadium at Big Sky High School. This marked the 25th Anniversary of the Relay For Life.
Missoula Electric Cooperative employees raised over $2,200.00 for the American Cancer Society. We Relay because we have all been touched by cancer and desperately want to put an end to the disease.

Relay For Life gives us the opportunity to celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and support the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving mission by fighting back against a disease that has already taken too much.
After sunset at each Relay For Life event, the luminaria’s are lit and displayed with the names of those who have battled cancer. The ceremony of light symbolizes the hope and courage with which we all continue to fight cancer.
