MEC PAYMENT OPTIONS

MEC provides you with several easy options for you to pay your bill.

In Our Office 

You may pay your electric bill at the cooperative office at 1700 West Broadway, during our normal business hours (M-F 8 am - 5 pm). If you cannot make it to the office during business hours there is a convenient night drop box for you to deposit your payment in our drive-thru. All payments dropped in our night box are posted the next business day. Please do not put a cash payment in the night drop box.

Phone

You can dial directly into our automated payment system by calling:

Once connected, follow the prompts to complete your payment.  To speed future transactions, you can safely and securely store your payment information and avoid entering it each time you call.  The system is even "smart" - if you are calling from one of the phone numbers we have on file, it will recognize the phone number and pull your account information automatically.  Now that's handy!

Autopay

With Autopay, you can have the amount due each month drafted directly from your debit card, credit card, or checking account. You can enroll in autopay by phone using the automated payment system, online using SmartHub, or on your mobile device using the SmartHub mobile app.

You can always call us for more information. We will still mail you a monthly statement with these options. You'll never have to write or mail another check or worry about a late payment again.

SmartHub

MEC Mobile App

MEC is happy to offer a mobile payment app for our members who prefer to pay from their smartphones or tablets. Our mobile app is available for both Apple and Android operating systems. The app is available to download and use free of charge. Simply visit your app store and search for "SmartHub". To read more about our mobile app, click here.

Mail 

You can send us your payment in the self-addressed envelope included with your billing statement. Please include your bill stub and put your account number on your check. Please don’t send cash in the mail, MEC cannot be responsible for cash lost in the mail. 

When you provide a check as payment, you authorize us to either use the information from your check to make a one-time electronic fund transfer from your account or to process the payment as a check transaction.
