Energy Partners Annual Update

Posted: January 1, 2022
EP GM, DeWayne O’Brien

I remember as a kid thinking that a year seemed so long, but the saying is definitely true, “As you get older, the years go by faster”. At Energy Partners (EP), we had a phenomenal year in 2021.

First and foremost, I would like to recognize our amazing, committed staff of employees. Not only were we able to grow the business and continue to expand our customer base, but we were also able to bring on some extremely talented people to join our team, especially in a time when it seems every business is struggling to get staffed. Our family and team of employees here at Energy Partners bring a level of commitment that is inspiring. They always continue to impress me with how they respond to and take care of our customers. We have become Western Montana’s leading propane provider due to the level of experience and commitment our team of employees bring to the table, and I am very grateful to work with them every day.

We live in an ever-changing world of technology, and this past year EP continued to explore and add new software and technology which allows us to stay relevant today and in the future. Back in 2020, we brought cellular tank monitors to our region, which have become a staple for our customers’ propane efficiency. In 2021, we were focused on satellite tank monitors, which allow us to better monitor remote locations where cellular technology doesn’t reach. As we move into 2022, we will continue to enhance our customer experience by refining and implementing advanced technology systems relevant to the propane industry.

It’s no secret that in the current state of the world, ordering and receiving supplies is taking longer. Local stores, businesses, restaurants and markets have all been impacted by the supply shortage. The propane industry has seen this throughout the country. Everything from propane to parts and tanks, has continued to be a challenge. Energy Partners has been here for over 20 years and we continue to build and have strong lasting relationships with our vendors and wholesalers across the United States and Canada. Through these partnerships, and pre-purchasing of product, EP is well-positioned and has been able to buffer the impact. Even with strain on the supply chain, we are still able to offer and add value to our customers. No matter the challenges ahead, we will continue to take care of the propane needs of our current customers and welcome new customers to the EP family.

Each EP location is centered in the heart of incredible communities. In 2021, we enjoyed the opportunity to get more involved with the people that make up these communities. We were grateful to be a part of Seeley Lake Community Foundation’s “Change Your Pace Challenge”, local 4-H livestock sales and host a customer appreciation event in Thompson Falls.

As we ring in a New Year, Energy Partners would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to our valued customers. We welcome you to stop by any of our seven locations in Western Montana to check us out and say hello.
