Request A Free Energy-Saving Kit Before They’re Gone For Good.
In recent years, the Cooperative has mailed out free energy-saving LED light bulbs to residential members. This was done to encourage simple, realistic, affordable household changes that reduce energy consumption. Unfortunately, MEC’s Energy Efficiency Program will no longer provide these energy-saving mailings to members come fall.
But not to worry! You can sign up for our final residential mailing between now and the end of September. Each energy-saving kit will contain eight LED lightbulbs and one advanced power strip. Also, for a limited time, members who heat their home with an electric forced-air furnace, air source heat pump or ground source heat pump can request a free Nest thermostat.
