MEC Roots Program
At MEC, our history is woven into the communities we serve. Many of our founding members’ names can still be found on signs along the backroads of our service territory. Like any cooperative, our greatest strength is our members—and now, you can play an even more active role through the MEC Roots Program.
MEC Roots is a network of Co-op members dedicated to supporting rural electric cooperatives. By joining, you’ll stay informed about issues that could affect MEC and, ultimately, you as a member. You’ll also have the opportunity to share your thoughts with elected officials and policymakers on state and federal regulations that impact our Cooperative.
