Alberton School

Alberton School was awarded $2,000 to put towards updating their game bus, which would help to exemplify school spirit, safely carry students to and from school sporting events and provide comfortable transportation for long road trips.

Boys and Girls Club of Missoula County

The ORU board awarded the Boys and Girls Club of Missoula County with $2,500 to support the Back-A-Kid Scholarship Fund. This fund provides scholarships to Missoula County families for after-school and summer care and helps to ensure youth who need the program, despite financial ability, are able to attend Club.

Friends of Missoula Parks for the Clinton Skatepark Initiative

$4,000 was gifted to Friends of Missoula Parks for the Clinton Skatepark Initiative, which is building a skatepark at Clinton Community Park for locals and visitors of all ages. The skatepark will create a safe, positive outdoor space for the community to gather and recreate.

Humane Society of Western Montana

The Humane Society of Western Montana was awarded $1,500 to help with the purchase of veterinary medical equipment to perform more in-house surgeries. This equipment will allow the Humane Society to not only save thousands of dollars annually but will also provide them with the funds to care for and save more pets within western Montana.

Missoula Robotics Team 3216

Missoula Robotics Team 3216 is a group of 40 Missoula County Public School high school students and 10 mentors who are passionate about learning and teaching STEM. The $1,500 ORU donation will help the team travel to two robotics competitions in North Dakota and Idaho.

Potomac School Parent Teacher Club

Potomac School Parent Teacher Club received a $1,000 check to help with the cost of their annual “Bingo” fundraiser, which raises monies to support experiential learning opportunities and improvements to create a safer, more accessible playground.

Roots Booster Club

Roots Booster Club was awarded a $1,000 check to help with the cost of gymnastic meets, dance competitions and associated fees for performances. These funds will help 120+ competitive team members travel to meets and competitions and receive extra training opportunities.

Seeley-Swan High School – Business Professionals of America (BPA) Team

ORU donated $1,500 to support Seeley-Swan High School’s Business Professionals of America (BPA) members. As national qualifiers, this group was invited to attend the BPA National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California.
