Income-Qualified Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

MEC’s Income-Qualified Energy Efficiency Rebate Program helps eligible households upgrade their homes with energy-efficient solutions, improving comfort, and reducing energy costs. Qualifying homeowners and multifamily property owners can receive higher rebates for a range of energy-saving measures.
Available Energy Efficiency Upgrades
Eligible homes may receive rebates for:
✔ Heating & Cooling Upgrades – Including ductless heat pumps, air-source heat pumps, duct sealing, and duct insulation.
✔ Water Heating Improvements – Heat pump water heaters for more efficient hot water production.
✔ Energy-Efficient Appliances – Rebates for ENERGY STAR clothes washers and dryers.
✔ Weatherization Enhancements – Insulation, low-E storm windows, exterior insulated doors, air sealing, and more.
Who Qualifies?
You may qualify if your household income is at or below 200% of federal poverty levels or meets state/tribal low-income criteria.
✔ Single-family homes, manufactured homes, and multifamily buildings with at least 50% income-qualified households are eligible.
✔ Required documentation includes proof of income eligibility.
