Window Rebates Expanded
Missoula Electric Cooperative (MEC) is excited to announce expanded energy efficiency rebates offerings for members with electrically heated homes wanting to replace their windows. Members can now receive rebates for replacing single-pane, double-pane, and even older vinyl windows with new, high-performance models which reduce heat loss, improve comfort, and lower energy bills. Standard rebates range from $8 to $10 per square foot, depending on the efficiency of the new window. To qualify, replacement windows must meet a U-Value of 0.30 or 0.22.
For income-qualified households, even greater savings are available — with rebate amounts of up to $40 per square foot, making this one of the most impactful upgrades for improving home efficiency and year-round comfort.
