Terry Hoke, District 1 Candidate

Terry Hoke

My name is Terry Hoke and I am seeking re-election as your District 1 Trustee. With over 32 years of Board Experience, I have served in all official capacities. Current appointments include: Board Audit Committee (Chair), EV & New Technologies Committee, State Bylaws and Policies Committee Chair and State Audit Committee.

My platform includes:
– Providing a safe and quality work environment for all employees;
– Increasing service reliability through system improvements;
– Maintaining reasonable rates;
– Protecting our strong financial position;
– Paying our Member/Owners Capital Credits; and
– Staying abreast of technological advances that may afford our members environmentally friendly power alternatives.

In closing, I would certainly like to continue to serve you as Trustee and would very much appreciate your vote. Thank You

 

Garrett Pallo, District 3 Candidate

District #3
James “Garrett” Pallo

Mr. Pallo was born and raised in the Flathead Valley. He received a degree in Civil Engineering from Oregon State University and became a registered professional engineer in numerous states with expertise and focus on public infrastructure issues.

After retiring, Mr. Pallo returned to Montana and settled in the Bitterroot Valley. For the past year, he served as the Trustee for District #3 of the MEC. In this time, he completed the necessary courses to become a Certified Director and has gained a strong understanding of MEC operations and oversight. Mr. Pallo intends to help the Cooperative stay financially strong, provide reliable and affordable power services, and he has a keen interest in preparing for future challenges including renewable energy resources, electric vehicles, and other critical power infrastructure issues.

Garrett lives in Florence with his wife Rachel. Together they have four children and love making Montana their permanent home.
