MEC Members Can Take The Co-op’s 2022 Chevy Bolt For a Spin!

Electric vehicles (EVs) are in high demand as gas prices continue to put a pinch on many of our wallets. In recent years, the Co-op budgeted for the purchase of an electric vehicle before they started disappearing off car lots across the globe. Luckily, we were finally able to secure a 2022 Chevy Bolt late this summer. Now that we have an electric vehicle (and many of us have taken it for a test drive), it’s YOUR turn to take it for a spin!

This month, we will be launching an “EV Borrowing Program” for MEC members. Members will be able to borrow the Co-op’s Bolt for up to seven days. This opportunity will provide members with the opportunity to better understand EVs and how they might fit into their daily driving routines.

Interested in renting MEC’s Chevy Bolt?

  1. Reserve the Bolt by calling our office at 406.541.4433.
  2. On your scheduled pick-up day, stop by the Co-op at 1700 W. Broadway in Missoula. You’ll need to read and sign an Electric Vehicle Rental Agreement and provide a copy of your driver’s license and insurance card.
  3. For up to seven days, you are able to get behind the wheel and take the Bolt for a spin (or two!).
  4. Return the car to our office any weekday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. It’s as simple as that! You don’t even need to worry about “topping off the tank”. We will get it charged up and ready for the next member.
